What is slowly but surely becoming Kinley's room was previously our "music room/office" and the location of the ever-so-loved drums. Every day when Maddox comes home, the first thing he does is head straight to the music room and request that someone open the door. Why? Because he would spend the rest of the evening playing his daddy's drums, if we let him!
To his surprise, when he came home yesterday, the door to the music room was open. He ran straight in and gave me the most puzzled look. The room was practically empty! He said "drums?" So, I smiled and told him to go see his room. We walked across the hall and as soon as he walked into his room, he gasped with excitement. The drums!!! Yes, the drums have a new home in Maddox's room. Don and I could not bare to put them in the attic. He just loves them way too much and is actually pretty coordinated and has some mad rhythm for a 1 year old. :)
