Tonight, I was changing Maddox, and I started blowing belly blubbers and tickling with my mouth. He started laughing!! He was also laughing at Jada jumping up and down, but I didn't catch that part on video. The playtime with mommy is captured...

Maddox's New Toy
We saw a little boy playing with this ball thing at a restaurant earlier this week, and I had to ask where they got the toy. I just knew Maddox would LOVE it. Mamaw Foy found them!! She bought Maddox a big one and a little one, and he did enjoy them. At first, he was trying to figure out what to do with it. The more he had it in his hands, the more he seemed to like it. I think he'll have fun with this thing.
I was playing with the sepia and black and white options on my camera...
He was getting tickled at mommy...
I love this picture...
He's the cutest kid alive!

Time Has Flown!

I can't believe Maddox is going to be 5 months old this weekend. Time has flown by!! Before I know it, he's going to be crawling all around the place and saying his first words. It's been hard going back to work. This is my second week back in the office. I've cried a couple of times, missing him. I pick him up and get home by 6:30 on a good night. I play with him for about an hour. Then, it's time for dinner, bath and bedtime. I usually feed him before I leave for work, but it's what I call a "dream feed" because he's half asleep. He eats and goes right back to bed. I definitely cherish the weekend. I hate that I might miss things. At least I know he's in good hands during the day. That makes it all easier. I love that boy!!

Maddox's First Giggle
Maddox laughed for the first time today - I mean REALLY laughed. I was so glad my dad was in the truck when he laughed; so someone could witness it. I was peeking around his carseat and asking "did you get it?" (he bats at his toys hanging from his carseat). I thought to grab my video camera (thanks Mom) after he was calming down a bit, but you can see some of the leftovers. Hilarious...
