Pregnant: 16+ Weeks (4 Months)

Okay, okay!! Here's your belly shot. I was exactly 4 months pregnant last Sunday. My belly is starting to get bigger, and I read today that the baby will double it's weight in the next 3 weeks. I imagine I'll be in maternity clothes very soon. This is my favorite part of being pregnant - the belly shots (she says sarcastically). Enjoy! :-)

Honeymoon in Nashvegas

The honeymoon was great!! We went to Nashville and stayed at the Opryland hotel. It was so nice to relax and sleep - no phones ringing, no agendas or meetings, and nowhere to be! We ordered lots of room service, watched several movies and just hung out. The hotel is massive - lots of neat restaurants we got to try. We also rode this river boat that runs through one of the main areas of the hotel (the picture was taken on the boat). It was nice. Glad to be home, but it was definitely nice to get away for a bit.

The Wedding

The wedding was so wonderful. We had a great time! The ceremony was nice - sweet and simple. The dinner reception was good. The cake was fun - I got cake all over Don's face! :-)

The dancing was fun too. Rockin' Robin was a lot of fun. It was the best day of my life, and now I'm married to the love of my life and couldn't be happier. I'll be sure to post wedding pictures soon. Love you all!!

Jax Hears a Who

We couldn't get Jax in to the groomer, and his hair has gotten so long it falls in his eyes. So I was trying to find ways to improvise in the meantime. This was one option. In honor of "Horton Hears a Who" (which we saw today, by the way, and it was so cute!).......

I added a few more pictures of Jax. He is a big part of our family and isn't on the blog enough! :-) There's a couple of pictures from when he was a puppy - you can see how much he's grown!

Pregnant: 14+ Weeks (3 1/2 Months) - Doctor Visit #2

So... I had my 2nd doctor's appointment today. It was really quick! It was 45 minutes from the time we walked in the door until we left. Right when they called us back, they took my blood pressure (which was good) and then they weighed me (which was bad)...haha! JUST KIDDING! (kinda) - Actually, interestingly enough, I am exactly the same weight as I was my last appointment! Probably because I haven't been able to keep much down. Ugh!

After the routine stuff, Dr. Martin brought in a cordless dopler thing, and we got to hear the baby's heartbeat. It was in the 160s, which Dr. Martin said was great. (Everyone go "AHHHHHH")......

It was really cool!

We get to find out if it's a boy or girl next appointment (April 9th).

I Got the Job!!

I have been waiting to hear about a job I interviewed for at my company. It's a great position with a great group of folks, and I found out today that I got the job!! I'm so excited!!!

Don and I went to dinner tonight to celebrate.

I had fried pickles and chocolate cake. STRANGE, but yumm! :-)

Just wanted to share the exciting news. Yay!!!!
