Maddox's First Easter

Maddox's first Easter was a blast. He looked adoreable in his outfit. We went to church with my parents, and then we had a great dinner at J Alexanders (doubling as my dad's birthday dinner).

Then, we spent some time with the Mayalls at their house. Maddox got an easter basket from Mimi too. SO SPOILED!!

Maddox spent the afternoon with Papaw and Uncle Patrick outside in the garden. He definitely loves it outside! Playing in the dirt...it's a right of passage. :-)

Maddox's New Tub

I decided to experiment a little and bought this rubber duck bathtub for Maddox. It was such a good idea! HE LOVES IT!! He just splashed his hands and kicked back in it. He also loved his new foam letters and numbers. Apparently, they make good teethers too! :-) He enjoyed his bath. Here are a couple of pictures.

Maddox is 7 Months Old Today!

Wow...time flies. Maddox is 7 months old. Where does the time go? Here are a few pictures of him sporting his Memphis blues. Tigers played today - and won! Go Tigers! :-)

Maddox: 6 Month Wellness Checkup

Maddox went to the doctor today for his 6 month check-up. Dr. Larkin still hears his heart murmur; so we have an appointment with the cardiologist on March 23rd - just to make sure everything is well. He weighs 19 pounds and is 27 inches long. He is in the 50th percentile in both height and weight. The Mayalls nicknamed him "the Tank" - haha! Here are some pictures from him at the doctor's office and afterward, surviving the shots! He was a trooper.


He likes to look at himself in the mirror. So cute!

He survived!! He was pouting a little, but a warm bottle always done the soul some good.

Happy Birthday Mommy!

I celebrated my 26th birthday this weekend in St. Louis, Missouri. It was a nice little getaway with my family. We stayed in a super-nice room at the Westin downtown St. Louis. I got to eat the best cheesecake at Cheesecake Factory and experience a little of the culture of St. Louis. Here are some pictures of my baby boy this weekend. He is growing up way too fast. He is starting to be so active, getting in to everything and making lots of noises. It's adoreable. He is going to be crawling ANY day now. He is starting to really pay attention to his hands and feet and realizing he can control them. We're all in trouble now!! :-)
